Products
Below are some common questions about our products
HDL™ (Head Lock) Retention System
Pros:
High Retention Levels: Offers level II or III retention for enhanced security.
Dual-Action Release: Provides a fluent and natural dual-motion draw, ensuring a smooth and
swift draw.
Customization: Adjustable retention screws allow users to fine-tune their holster for a
personalized fit.
Versatile Wearing Options: Can be mounted on a drop leg platform or belt with various wearing
options, catering to user preferences.
Cons (that can also be considered pros):
Complexity (Level III): The dual-action release might be perceived as more complex, but it offers
an added layer of security.
Additional Steps (Level II): Re-locking the pistol by pulling the bridge backward and closing the
head cover adds extra security steps.
SR™ Retention System
Pros:
Trigger Guard Security: Locks and secures the pistol via the trigger guard, offering reliable
retention.
Multiple Locking Options: Available in various holster configurations (e.g., Open top, Thumb-
break, HDL) and materials, allowing users to choose the level of security.
Simplified Draw: Releasing the trigger guard for an easy draw is quick and straightforward.
Cons (that can also be considered pros):
Single-Point Retention: The SR™ system primarily secures the pistol through the trigger guard,
which some may find less complex and more convenient.
PDS™ (Push-Down System) Retention
Pros:
Prevents Accidental Discharge: Uniquely prevents accidental weapon discharge by keeping the
index finger away from the trigger guard.
Two Retention Levels: Offers two retention levels for customization and security.
Swift and Smooth Draw: Both levels allow for a swift and smooth draw.
Cons (that can also be considered pros):
Additional Action (Level-2): Level-2 retention involves an additional action (sliding the trigger
finger under the latch), which some may find slightly more complex. However, this adds an extra
layer of security.
Material Options: Available in different materials, but the choice of material may affect comfort
and security.
Thumb-Break (Retaining Strap)
Pros:
Additional Security: Prevents unintentional drawing of the weapon, enhancing safety.
Unauthorized Access Prevention: Safeguards against unauthorized individuals attempting to
draw the weapon.
Cons (that can also be considered pros):
Additional Step: Releasing the thumb-break strap requires an extra step, but it offers an added
layer of security.
These systems and the Thumb-Break each have their unique characteristics, and the perceived
cons can often be viewed as added pros in terms of enhanced security and customization. The
choice of locking system depends on the user's specific needs and preferences.
